Dr. Erin Myszkowski
Dr. Erin Myszkowski became the Director of PHPL Advising in June 2015. Previously, she had been the Associate Director of the office since December 2012 and the Assistant Director since joining the office in July 2009. Her responsibilities in PHPL Advising include advising Pre-Professional students; overseeing the daily operations of the office; creating, coordinating, and assessing office programs and policies; providing vision for future initiatives and services; advising students in the 3+3 programs; and analyzing statistics related to UCF student applications, acceptances, and matriculations to health professional schools and law schools. Erin holds multiple leadership positions in the Southeast regional (SAAHP) and the national (NAAHP) Pre-Health advising associations; has been published in The Advisor, the national journal of the NAAHP; and has presented her research and other topics at multiple conferences at the national level (NAAHP), regional level (SAAHP), and state level (Florida Pre-Health Advisors Meeting). Erin joined UCF in September 2006 as a Coordinator/Advisor in the College of Sciences Advising Services (COSAS) office. Prior to working at UCF, Erin worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Education Portfolios and Career Services (EPCS) office. Erin’s research interests include Pre-Health students who complete prerequisite coursework at community/state colleges and Pre-Health transfer students.

Kimberly Finley joined Pre-Health and Pre-Law Advising in July of 2014. Her current role as the Coordinator/Advisor in PHPL Advising involves guiding Pre-Professional students to develop a plan of progression for admission to professional schools and programs; coordinating the workshops, webinars, and newsletters; developing programming for transfer students; training the office’s Graduate Assistants; assisting in office outreach initiatives; conducting mock interviews; and managing other special projects. She spent her previous years at Valencia College where she held responsibilities as an Academic Advisor, Student Development Advisor, and Supervisor of the Peer Educator program.

Chauntrice Riley-Stanford joined Pre-Health and Pre-Law Advising in April 2016. Her current role as the Coordinator/Advisor in PHPL Advising involves guiding Pre-Professional students to develop a plan of progression for admission to professional schools and programs; developing programming related to diversity and inclusion; advising students in the 3+3 programs; assisting the Director in data collection, tracking, and analysis; assisting in office outreach initiatives; conducting mock interviews; and managing other special projects. Before joining PHPL Advising, Chauntrice spent the last 10 years here at UCF in the College of Sciences where she held responsibilities over that time as Peer Advisor, Program Assistant, and Academic Advisor.

Brittany Cunnien joined Pre-Health and Pre-Law Advising in April 2019. Her current role as an Advisor in PHPL Advising involves guiding Pre-Professional students to develop a plan of progression for admission to professional schools and programs; coordinating the office’s mock interview process and professional school visits; developing the office’s programming for Pre-Law students, assisting in office outreach initiatives; conducting mock interviews; and managing other special projects. Prior to becoming full-time staff, she joined PHPL Advising in May 2017 as a Graduate Assistant Advisor while she attended UCF as a graduate student.

Courtney Martinez joined Pre-Health and Pre-Law Advising in June of 2019. Her current role as an Advisor in PHPL involves guiding and developing pre-professional students to become competitive applicants for professional schools and programs. Additionally, Courtney coordinates the department’s communication and outreach efforts, practice tests, and letters packet service. She also serves as the Committee Chair of the Pre-Health and Pre-Law Peer Ambassador Committee. She spent her previous years as a Medical Scribe Recruiter where she supported pre-health students and universities across the U.S.

Jessica M. Soto is a native New Yorker who relocated to Florida with her family in 2005. As the Office Manager, Jessica supervises the office’s student assistants at the front desk, coordinates the office budget, and coordinators our other administrative tasks such as hiring, purchasing, and travel. She joined PHPL Advising in June 2010 as a Student Assistant while she attended UCF as an undergraduate and returned as the Office Manager in 2013.
